So should I swap out my 2x twin linked lascannons for 2x hurricane bolsters on LR?

I usually face a lot of multiwound models and Run Bobby G with love bubble so rerolling everything.

Thanks

Depends on what you want to do with it. A Crusader won't become a better tank hunter because it can fire more anti-infantry-shots at longer distances. It's still what it was before, a way to get TEQ across the field and clear screens for them.

Also, bear in mind that if you want to run a Crusader or Redeemer you will also have to swap the Twin Heavy Bolter at the front for a Twin Assault Cannon (or just use counts as).

If you're facing multi wound units I'd say auto cannon dreads would be a good option. Thing is that's an index option so there's no telling how longs it's life span will be.

Well, if you can fit other AT, yes, your Hurricane Bolters and the Assault Cannon can fire a hell to hordes and more with Guilliman re-rolling.

My experience has been the LRC is much improved. The fact the Hurricane Bolters always rapid-fire means they get tied up in combat less frequently because they can stay further out of harm's way.

I track extra wounds caused by the beta bolter rule for each unit. The LRC did 17 extra wounds over the course of the game last time I used it. A big part of that was staying outside charge range.

Let's say a twin-lascannon averages 2 wounds a turn (including those turns where they wiff) for a total of 12 wounds over 6 turns. Obviously, what you target matters, but there's a case to be made for the Hurricane Bolters being the better weapon in many situations.
