Returning player here, picking up Orks as my new army. I am open on Klan Kulture, although for this list I feel like Evil Sunz is the way to go. I have NO IDEA what Speed Freeks means now or how to attain that keyword. But I think I want it. Anyway, here it is:

Despite a couple less-than-optimal choices (I play casually), if I execute my gameplan I think I can compete with most armies. My Warlord will deploy in the Gorkanaut with the 5-man Nob unit and I'll burn 2CP for Tellyporta. That's bomb #1. The other two Warbosses will deploy inside the bonebreaka with the 10-man Boyz unit and use Evil Sunz (Speed Freeks?) mobility to advance and charge T1 thanks to the Deffkilla Wartrike who will ride shotgun next to it; that's bomb #2. Lastly, the Weirdboy will cast Da Jump on the 30x blob of boyz who have a good chance of charging T1 as well. That's bomb #3. The flyers are there to clear bubble wraps; the Deffkopta, Kommandos, Scrapjet and Gretchin are just there to grab Maelstrom objectives, although I don't expect the Gretchin to do anything but die. The other 3 at least have the potential to be useful for killing small items.

Being out of the game for 18 months, what holes can you see in my list/plan and what the heck does Speed Freeks do I can't seem to find it in the codex.

Hello,

To clarify Speed Freak doesn't mean Evil Sunz.
Evil Sunz is a klan kultur, Speed Freak is a unit keyword you can find on multiple orks fast attack slot units.
The Speed Freak keyword himself does nothing but it allows the unit to be target of some stratgem (like Billowing Exhaust Clouds) and bonus (like an exta +1" on move speed from the Evil Sunz kultur).
Another keyword you can see around is the Kult of Speed, wich is another different keyword. For the cost of 1CP you can turn your detachment into Kult of Speed specialized detachment. It gives you access to additional stratagems, warlord trait ans relics that only few unit can use.

Returning to your army it seems OK for casual fun games, just one thing, since codex Kommandos doesnt have anymore access to burnas. You are supposed to use the most recent publications of the rules and datasheets when they are available.
Edit: After few extra researchs it's quite ambiguous but it looks like you are "allowed" by the rules to use index wargears options for a codex unit if, I quote, «you want to use an old model with that wargear option»...

Additionaly, it's just being a d*** and exploit a rule because Burnas cost 0 pts due to their points are reflected into Burnaboyz cost, wich is 4 pts more for worst profile than Kommandos w/o their special rules... but who am I to judge GW designers?
