Hello.

So I picked up my first box of miliput recently and I'm so far pleased with the results. Having made sand bags and tendrils/ tentacles.

When I purchased miliput it had different varieties. What do the other various types do?

Do you like using miliput over Greenstuff?

Does miliput break easily?

What are some alternatives to miliput and Greenstuff?

Has anyone tried mixing Greenstuff and miliput?

Thanks.

you can mix milliput & GS - its good.
other materials - brown stuff (harder & more brittle than GS), Pro-Create.
Das (air-drying) - i find this hard to use well
Super-Sculpy (oven-baked) - brittle but fun.
top tip - keep your green stuff in the freezer.

Check out my gallery here
Also I've started taking photos to use as reference for weathering which can be found here. Please send me your photos so they can be found all in one place!!

Cool. Thanks man. Do you know about the different types of miliput? Like black or grey? Different consistency or just different colors?

Magic Sculpt is another good alternative. It's similar to milliput, but finer.

I mix milliput with GS 50/50. It gives the hardness/ sand and fileability of milliput with the smooth finish and sculptability of GS
