It kinda brings good memories back of the old customizable rules we had.

Why the bloody handed reaver when you are not fielding veteran grenadiers though?

This is however bit short on the fodder side. Well beyond the zombies.

A Mostly Renegades and Heretics blog.
GW:"Space marines got too many options to balance, therefore we decided to legends HH units."
Players: "why?!? Now we finally got decent plastic kits and you cut them?"
Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

Well, it wasn't so much that I wanted to take it so much as it was the only one that made sense. Primaris-Witch doesn't do much for me and costs 60 pts., I don't have the models right now to field mutant rabble, master of the horde disables my ability to use militia training and I don't want to use so much militia, arch-heretic makes no sense for me since I'm more inclined to keep the Archdemagogue out of melee, and the Heretek-Magus again uses more models I don't have or don't want to emphasize.

The arch heretek just unlocks and has no requirements, would allow for the sweet sweet 5+ FNP.
That said the covenants i will look at tommorow again.

Actually, looking at it now it, that makes for a better option and takes the space of the 5 points I had nothing to use for. Good call.
