I'm going to a tournament at the end of the month with a curious limitation: you only get a single Battalion. I've been thinking a lot about this. I play GK and Daemons, so I have lists for both those factions that I'm relatively confident in. (Still not sure which faction I'll take, leaning towards GK.) However, it's got me thinking about the best list for each faction that you could pull off.
Anyone wanna help? Give your lists in the comments, give tweaks on mine!

(I can make this list but i'm 1 Talos short, easily can do it) This is IMO a very strong list, its very slow tho, but all 4++/6+++ and Talos able to fire and fade, Wracks able to come back if 1 is left alive or just teleport, makes it very good, the amount of Anti-tank is good, and melee anti-infantry, a few Snipers to kill of minor support characters (5) or at least put pressure on them, a anti-overwatch and MW's to casters, it can pressure many lists. No AoV.
My Harlequin list sadly is Ynnari, (I hate Ynnari...)
All characters are Dreaming Shadow, Troupes and Bikes are Silent Shroud (anti-overwatch strat), Solitaire is Midnight (fight if dies) if it was NOT Ynnari, it would be 6 more bikes,1 more Shadowseer and all Dreaming shadow.

I don't really play Aeldari at all, although I was familiar with Eldar once in editions past, so I'm not tapped into the great combos possible.
What're the main differences between your Harlie list and mine? I see you have no transports...do you think the Troupes can make it across the board on foot?
And Harlies can mix masque bonuses in the same Detachment? Or do you just get strats playable on specific units, and no masque abilities?

Less Troupes and Ynnari, in Ynnari you can, but you dont get the rules, Ynnari you dont get them anyways, so you mix them to use stratagems, this is in the Ynnari faq.
Harlequins Traits are not as good as SfD, yes shooting again on a 4+ is good, yes, advancing and shoot is good, but when you double shooting, moving, combat is leaps and bounds better, then cherry picking the stratagems you want id even better.
You can EASILY turn 1 Solitaire charge for double combat and double shoot a Skyweaver unit.
I did this at a tournament with Admech/Knights, won me the game. Tho i also had CWE for Doom, but without doom i would have still killed the first knight, the only thing that Doom did was let me take 6 extra wounds off his 2nd knight, in the long run it didnt really help.

I would take 3 Voidweavers, 12 Skyweavers, 3 Troupes still, 3 DJ's, Solitaire, and 3 HQ's with 3-4 Starweavers, all Dreaming shadow, as that is better than Soaring Spite.
