Subject: Question on Using "Castrol Super Clean" for Stripping Model Miniatures ???
It's fine straight from the jug. I've soaked plastic models in it for weeks because I forgot about them and had no issues. A non-cleared model should take 48 hours to strip mostly clean (maybe less); i'd give a clear coated model 5-7 days (again depends on the clear; gloss will invariably take longer to strip than a matte clear IME).
I like it better than Simple Green. It seems to work better and yet is still non-toxic and environmentally safe (if you care about that little detail).
