Hey guys, i was hoping some one would be aware of any tutorial regardless of how indepth it is for painting The Great Unclean One in a more of a dark black ish sort of color sceheme, or basicly any thing that would blend in better with a Black Legion army other then the common green colored one.

Edit - Another question please, but i don't want to make another thread. How can i apply a decal if i am not going to be varnishing my model at all?. Like you know how you're supposed to put gloss down first then decal, then matte over then, what will that do to my finish.

I don't know any tutorials, but you could experiment with all sorts of colours for something that gross. Maybe look at zombie stuff and try to emulate that mottled grey colour?

You don't need to apply varnish for decals, it just helps, that's all. The decal will still work without it.

I did my own stuff with out tutorials for most of my army, but i want to follow a tutorial for this particular model so i can learn more and then in the future be able to just do stuff my own way with the knowledge i have gathered.

Like i have a little rough idea what i would do, but i dont want to attempt it with this guy until i am more experienced.
