Hello! I created an account here more than a year ago, and have just lurked from time to time. Thought I'd post an introduction since I've recently edited my profile and have started participating.

I first got into wargaming with Warhammer Fantasy 6th edition, around 18 years ago. Collected and painted up around 2500 points of Dwarfs. I wasn't a great painter, but I was determined and loved assembling and painting all of the stout guys and all of the war machines. Didn't play much with them - got a few games in at a local shop, but lost steam after some losses, and months later sold them all off on eBay.

10 years later, I got into AT-43, when there were large discounts on it from online sellers. Convinced some friends to pick up armies, and then we got quite a few battles in - even a lengthy campaign. There was a lot I liked about that wargame. But, those friends drifted apart and now my Therian and UNA armies are dormant in my garage.

In recent years, I've spent time painting up models for a few miniature-boardgames (Zombicide versions, GhostBusters) and have got that itch again for wargame modelling and play. I don't think I'd have the time for large armies, but I am intrigued by skirmish play. I picked up Kill Team a few months ago, and am working on constructing a few different teams. Hopefully, I can get in some games at a local shop.

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka
