What do we think of the teasers, pretty much confirmed that we are getting an Abaddon model, seeing that GW have tried their best to make it look like a rumour engine lol They better make a model worthy of the title.

Edit: as for what I think about it...well, I'm getting one. I don't even have a Black Legion army.
You have to preface it with that because GW tried to make is a 'spoiler' no matter how lame their attempt to make it a spoiler it is. This thread was created because of that video, but they could make an Abaddon looking model and call him Carl for all we know.
At least they're aware of the Primaris Lieutenant meme they have created and aren't afraid to make fun of themselves whilst revealing a sneak peak at Abbadon

There is no courage to be found here my nephews, no honour to be had. Your souls will join the trillion others in the mist shrieking uselessly to eternity, weeping for the empire you could not save.

He's looking good except the hair. It's not the best look (I don't mind it too much) but it looks like they've made it into some sort of cartoony thing. I hope they've not over-camped him like the other new models.
Delvarus Centurion wrote: He'll probably be Primarch height if GW are going to follow Talon of Horus.
It's an exaggeration, but he's big for sure.
If they go the way of making him super powerful I'm fine with that. As long as he's a 400 point, monster keyword and loses access to deepstrike, vehicles and entering ruins.
Given the relative size of the base required to have a dead Primaris LT on is and still have that much room on it, I would be surprised if Abaddon is smaller than Primarneus Calgar.
More likely he will be somewhere between Calgar and Guilliman sized.
All I want to know is what are the rules for Drach'ny'en - it is literally weaponised murder! In the older fluff it literally tore reality apart - see gates of the Kromarch or whatever he was called.
If it can't one shot Bobby G I am disappoint.
Literally, too many uses of the word 'literally' in that post : )

Please note, for those of you who play Chaos Daemons as a faction the term "Daemon" is potentially offensive. Instead, please play codex "Chaos: Mortally Challenged". Thank you.

I would bet he'll keep his current rules, which are pretty stellar anyway.
Abaddon was supposed to be a Primarch-sized Astartes, rumoured to be a clone of Horus. I'd imagine he'll be Roboute-sized, but maybe bigger in Terminator Armour.

Yea No, go look at the FW version of him and Loken. They are about the same size, armor aside. I don't mind him not being a a tiny old terminator anymore but he should not be the size of a demi god.

The talon is already visibly bigger. He's been in the warp so it is possible he grew.
so 26 days from when the video was posted... possible reveal next week with preorder on the 2nd?

To be fair the model from FW has its scale all over the place. Abaddon in Terminator armor is about the same dimension as Loken which means that without Termie armor Abaddon is puny. Also, both models have that old-school "large head syndrome" that just makes their proportions cartoony.
I wouldn't be surprised if Abaddon is Roboute size in his terminator armor. If he is larger they can easily say that he just has been warp infused or something over the course of 10k years.
I think he'll be CLOSE to Roboute sized, but just a wee-bit smaller. So much so that you'll probably have to put them side-by-side to see the difference.
But I'd be shocked if he was the same size or bigger. He isn't actually a Primarch, after all
"That rumour Abaddon is the gene-son of Horus? Preposterous! Horus was weak and foolish, Abaddon was the real Primarch all along! Horus was but a cheap imitation of the True Warmaster's glory!"

Yes, the infamous Carl will be returning, wielding Not-alon of Horus and the feared daemon sword, Drach'nyet.

Maybe it's Horus.
Well this is trolling, but hey... Why would Abaddon resurrect Horus when he has already killed the multiple resurrected Horus'? Secondly why would he then hand Horus his weapons, including Drach'nyen?
My hobby instagram account: @the_shroud_of_vigilance My Shroud of Vigilance Hobby update blog for me detailed updates and lore on the faction:

Who said Abaddon willingly handed over the weapons, and Horus didn’t take them by force?
Also, although I hope it’s not the case of Horus coming back, we are talking about an individual infused with warp-stuff, and time in the Warp does strange things; this could result in a myriad of ways for Horus to return, from reforming as warp daemons are apt to do, or a time-trip, to “manifesting” and erupting from within Abaddon himself.

And with strange aeons even death may die..”

Maybe it's Horus.
Which would be a major retcon, Abbadon completely destroyed Horus' original corpse (partly to stop the clone experiments, but to also prevent him from losing power over the Legion)

And, If I recall correctly, the Emperor's last psychic blast against Horus destroyed Horus's soul.
