Suppose my opponent successfully manifests a psychic power. Suppose that I have access to both psykers of my own, and the Abhor the Witch stratagem (or Scourge of Sorcery, or any other similar stratagem).

Is there anything preventing me from attempting to deny the psychic power using my psyker before I attempt to use the Abhor the Witch stratagem?

You can try to deny the witch first, if that doesnt work you can use abhor the witch. But other stratagems might be worded differently, preventing the use of both rules.
