So, since the Corsair sprues are completely gone now, does anyone have any ideas on how to get some of the upgrade kits? Or really anything from the range? I had wanted to build a Corsair army for a while now, and was fervently watching for a return of the upgrade sprues. I do realize they can't go on a table without fiddling with the rules, but one hurdle at a time.

I don't want the best army, just one that isn't an exercise in picking up my models by turn 3.

I guess you could go to the swap shop and search there, bound to find some of them due to the nature of the recent FW indexes.

Fideling with the rules..... Yep FW screwed the index up, but you are in good company with the other FW armies. (corsairs can't even field a patrol i belive.)

Chaos marines players: "Since when are Daemonengines 30k models and why do i have NO droppods now?"
GW" MONEY.... erm i meant TOO MANY OPTIONS (to resell your army to you again by disalowing former units)! Do you want specific tyranid fighiting Primaris? Even a new sabotage lieutnant!"
Chaos players: Guess i stop playing or go to HH.

About the rules, check the IA: Xenos FAQ. You can field corsair detachments without HQs. And also use venoms as transports.

I hate to be this guy but..... 3rd party at this point, you can get 10man kits for like $6-$10.

FW is crazy for not doing something so minor, if many others can 3rd party this stuff so cheap with just as good materials and you literally cant tell. Why cant they?

I emailed them 10+ times over 2yrs asking for Corsair Troop kit. I told them i will go 3rd party... they literally said "We understand and wish you luck" They told me many times they might redo corsairs in a couple years.

So.. i have 0 hope for them, for sure my favorite army in 7th, i wish they would come back in some of the glory they used to be.

Well, would surely be happy if they would work propperly, now.

Can't say that about my R&H

And yes 3rd parties at this point / swap shop/ Ebay, this is about the only way you get what you would want.

Sadly, 3rd party.

They no longer sell or support corsairs, corsairs are dead. No one cares at this point if you go to 3rd party. Its been 3 years... let me repeat that 3 years since they had corsair reaver kit for sale (I know i tried a year into 7th and emailed them about it many times).

I recently ordered a silicone mold making kit for this very reason. I got a single wings + jetpack from ebay that I'll have to copy. The one recaster I know of only has the jetbike upgrade kit. I'm hoping this works, haven't had much luck with blue stuff molds.

Im not going to say who, what, or where, i will not spread the names around of 3rd party companies for many reasons, but i do believe 3rd party is a good tool for many players and for many reasons as well. All i will say is, if you want 3rd party, you need to find certain discords and ask certain people, you'll be given lists of 3rd party sellers easily.

3rd party can ruin the game, but at the same time its good b.c its competition and for items that are OOP, i mostly use it for FW, i tired to give them money for years and they wont sell me the things i want, also the 1 large costly unit i did buy it took 10 hours to "fix" it, very badly casted, warped, lots of sanding, greenstuff, hot water, waiting, and the sails were just broken. a nearly $200 model shouldnt be in that bad of a condition especially when 3rd party can do it for 1/3 the cost, just as good materials, and casted better....

I loved my Corsairs in 7th, the most fun i have every had (I didnt play 2 super formations, so it was actually a fun and balance army) I asked for Corsair support for years.

This is what I was thinking, but I have to get master casts first.

They don't even have HQ so in MP you can't even field them without Ynnari I think.

As mentioned earlier, there is an FAQ allowing you to field the Corsair units in a detachment without HQs. I don't believe you get the CP for it or something, but they have been shoe-horned in to be legal.
