Does anyone know of any resources for painting commissions?
I gathered a largish Tau army but then got very busy with work and am looking for info on painting/assembly services as I dont have the time lately to take on a huge project.

Pinned thread in the dakka swap shop sub forum; I'd stay away from thirdeyenuke studios though,

I had made a steer away warning post there and was removed for being a trashy comment by the Mod, I just can't understand how someone who can F*** over several people of their armies and commission for almost over a year due to a bad divorce, nothing below a year long coma should be tolerated as a acceptable excuse imo. Giving us fellow commission painters a real bad name and gets protection by the Mod, figures.

The swap shop has a few, otherwise you can look through the showcase threads - there's a lot of commission folks on dakka - some have been about for a very long time. If you find a painter you like, search the forum for their threads and you'll be able to see a portfolio of work (and gauge how quick / prolific they are).

It's incumbent on the client to do some homework on the contractor, at the end of the day. :-)

If you've got a big army to do, my first thought is Brandon at GMM. He's got a pretty long wait list I think, but big, pretty armies are his thing, and when he gets rolling, he churns them out in stupid-quick time. I suspect sorcery.
