I figured I'd start a thread since I've got some stuff built up that I think is worth sharing. Currently have a hodgepodge of models that I like--AdMech, Knights, Iron Hands, Death Guard. Only actual full army is DW at this point.

Here is my Repulsor I just (mostly) finished last night. I noticed some things I need to tidy up, like putting gloss varnish on lenses, but it's essentially finished. I'm really not happy with the Ordo Xenos 3rd party waterslide decals I used, and for some reason for the first time ever my gloss varnish over the top of them didn't settle so it's lumpy. It looks good except up real close though, so I don't think I'll bother going back and wet sanding unless I'm extremely bored someday. Lesson learned--I'll airbrush that too, from now on :/

I didn't glue the turret to its base--this allows it to split apart and I can change out the Heavy Onslaught for the Las Talon. After priming and varnish, it friction fits very nicely and isn't going to split apart by accident. Actually all of the weapons are swappable, except for the Icarus rockets can't be swapped for the Icarus Ironhail, and think my dog literally ate the turret mounted stubber, so I just glued on the little sight instead. The little turrets with stormbolters/fragstorm are the only thing that's magnetized. Everything else is friction fit with this kit. There's nice little tabs and slots for the lascannons/heavy bolters, and the pintle (?) mounted onslaught just snaps into place.

There will be more pics to share soon! I really need to set up a slightly better spot for taking pictures while I'm at it. . .

Looks good, but gets completely lost in the backdrop. If you're gonna showcase, grab a decent background. It looks like you paint well enough to show it off, so let us actually see it!
