Just pootin' it out dere, but dere needs ta be moar Grotz, runnin aboot!

Just lamenting the lack of available Grotz. I really wish it would be possible to pick up more "helper" Grotz, in their own set. Like a set that is a series of Ammo Runtz, Grot Oilers and more of that sort. Similar to how the Boyz set gives you some options, but with Grotz. I am finding the currently available Grot set to be very "samey", in that there is little variation in the models. Though, this is mostly a comparison with the Boyz set, which has options for many variations.

What are your thoughts? Is there an ample presence and availability of Grotz, currently? Would you like to see more? Any ideas for "things" the Grotz may be doing?

I'd like to see more actual Grot units.

Jetpacking Grots who fly around in large units/swarms/shoals/watevers. Grots snipers with sniper rifles or anti-materiel rifles. Grots driving about in small ATVs or bikes. Grots with bombs strapped to them. Sapper Grots. Grots riding on squigs.

There were sets of grot oilers and funny grots in the past, but they aren't available anymore unfortunately. Overall the current plastic Grots are the most boring grot miniatures GW has produced . Maybe look for alternative producers like Kromlech. Or have a look at Goblins from AoS.

Try the fantasy range of multi-pose grots. Add gubbins to taste and serve.

Grots should absolutely have their own full codex and be an ally option for Orks. I'm hoping the moonclan release was a good indicator that this would be a success in 40k too.

Good point about the snipers and stuff. Maybe a character Grot? Found himself an Imperial Sniper Rifle, at some point. Took out the Warboss and now leads a band of Grotz *shrugs* But, yeah, for "having better BS than an orc, Grotz get bupkis for gunz"

OH! Squiggs! It would be nice to see some larger Squiggs, or something. I wonder if an old "Dewback" Star Wars toy would make for a good base for a siege-squig? Would one treat it as a BattleWagon?

I'm pretty sure the caltrops from the 2nd ed starter set still take the award for most boring - and dangerous to stand on in the dark - Gretchin ever produced

I use the new moonclan mounted grots as my stormboyz, so far no opponent has found them not hilarious and complained about it

You just gave me a wonderful idea to use night goblins archers as grots for a snakebitez flying circus. Thanks!
