Ok so I'm trying to put together a competitive eldar list with a LD Bomb element. It's important the list can function without the LD part but with so many things that can debuff LD, and the amount of invuln saves I run into, I thought I'd give it a whirl, and comments greatly appreciated!

Alaitoc battalion
Farseer skyrunner (doom, mindwar)
Irilyth (forces 2d6 pick the highest for LD within 18")
3x5 rangers
8 shadow spectres
2 hemlocks (horrify and jinx)

Silent shroud outriders
Shadowseer (veil of tears, shards of light, mask of secrets)
2 death jesters
3x2 skyweavers (haywire, zephyrglaives)

Dark creed spearhead
Homonculous
3 talos (scalpals and haywire blasters)

So that's what I got so far, it's had a lot of tinkering but I'm still not sure about it tbh, mainly the following;
Not enough talos? If they don't make it up the board...
Would a black heart detachment be better than the harlies? Being able to vect any insane bravery would certainly be useful
Death jesters, not sure how reliable they'll be, never used them before, which says a lot I guess
Could swap irilyth for a guide farseer, the spectres would love that

Anyway, what are your thoughts? I've tried to take similar stuff that I would normally, to keep it functional even without the LD debuffs.

Thanks!

LD is leadership, morale

Kudos - this looks brutal. I didn't realize the amount of ld debuffing synergy Between craftworld , DE and Harlies. Have you tried it? I'd be curious for sure

I'm not sold on leadership debuffing because people tend to run minimum sized units in competitive. Plus everybody has a stratergy to autopass morale for 2 CP if you do manage to debuff something valuable.

I tried a chaos version of this list with butcher cannons, belakor, raptors and proxying some night lords. Maybe this list can stand up on it's own feet better than the chaos version...

I bet mindwar is brutal in this list. That’s a leadership based psychic ability isn’t it? Also the old 7E harlequin one which used to run on leadership like the current GSC mind power would have been great in this list

Agreed. Sadly the harlequin one now is strong and weak at the same time. As long as your d6 is equal or greater than their d6, they suffer a mortal wound. You keep going until they are dead. Great cause you can essentially kill a 16 wound model in one psychic phase. Bad because “essentially” is a big factor lol
