Something came up this week while talking about some list ideas at me FLGS and I couldnt find the answer. Since when you choose to make a knight a freeblade it changes all instances of <HOUSHOLD> To FREEBLADE what happens when you give that knight a relic or WL trait that have an ability that effect friendly <HOUSEHOLD> Units.(such as landstrider or helm dominotus). Is it stated in the brb that relics and warlord traits are part of the units data Sheets? The person I was speaking with asserted that since its not on the data sheet it doesn’t change. And that I can’t choose FREEBLADE to replace HOUSEHOLD in that instance. My take is that I can replace the keyword and have the trait effect freeblade
Q. If a freeblade knight takes the landstrider warlord trait does the keyword for the landstrider ability change to FREEBLADE.
RAW, WLT and relics are not part of a units datasheet. Nothing in the rules, or FAQs, says to treat WLT and relics as part of the datasheet. Therefore it doesnt change <HOUSEHOLD> to FREEBLADE for them.
