Subject: Applying Adeptus Titanicus Transfer Sheet decals to Imperial Knights?
|

Hi all,
Has anyone tried to apply decals from the Adeptus Titanicus Transfer Sheet to 40K normal scale Imperial Knights?
Do they scale well? Or are they too big/too small?
I'm interested in this one in particular:

Thanks.

A quick google came up with AT knights slightly bigger than terminators bit I may be wrong?

The AT Warlord titans are quite a bit smaller than the 40k Imperial Knights.
See 3 minutes into this:

So, I'm wondering if the AT decals would still work on the 40k knights.

AT knights are 40mm tall, bottom of the feet to top of the carapace. The same measurement for plastic 40k knights is 160mm.
The transfer sheet you showed is for a Titan Legion.
A titan legion's decals are not placed on knights, even if the knights in question are indentured to the legion. So fluff-wise, it doesn't make any sense to put titan decals on knights.
That being said, certainly the bigger versions of legio crests could be placed on knight armour plates, banners or their shoulder shield.

you could maybe place the biggest decals on the knee plate or ornament shield on the 40k knight but i doubt they would look "right"
AT is 8mm, 40k is 28mm.
to put in in perspective, AT Questoris knight is as tall as a vanilla marine. AT warhound is as tall as a SM dreadnough.
heck, the AT knight spesific transfers are too small for a vanilla marine.
if you want water transfers for 40k, you have to google spesificly 28mm scale, else the decals will simply be way, way too small if you go smaller, or way, way too big if you go bigger.
you best bet is simply making your own water transfers if you can. that way you can properly scale the design.
