Guardsman with Flashlight






My list is pretty basic for most of the parts. Wanted to keep 3 parts of it and have built out from there. My 10 crusaders, my vulture gunship, and my knight castellan. I don’t like the number of infantry squads I’m using and looking for a different direction to cut out 3 of them. Armored sentinels with plasma are more like gun platforms that won’t move much to reroll ones from Cadian to avoid plasma death.

I think you need more AT....I know I know you think the Castellan is the answer to all of your AT needs but what I've found with mine is that you need to over commit if you really want something dead. If you start split firing the volcano lance, decimater, etc. you find yourself damaging stuff that will still shoot at you next turn. That's been my experience. In one game I tried to kill Magnus and a forgefiend. Killed the forgefiend but Magnus survived, powered up and started healing. I just found I had to really over kill stuff - split fire was just too meh. I'd try throwing in a bassie or two - see what they do to a target you want dead and maybe split fire from the Castellan will be more effective against targets with lots of wounds that you need dead. just my 2 cents.
