Just don't know if I should use sprayed, watered-down, PVA to seal them or not? How would it affect the Marsh, Trees, and weeds?

Those look great! Are they going to be for sale?

I tend to just hit my terrain projects with some testors dullcote in small, quick sprays.

Great stuff, I like the march and the plowed fields a lot.

Very nice stuff! Would love to hear how you went about making the marsh if you are inclined to share.

@Easy.... Going to bump you to the top after this reply, and I will be one of the first to purchase your book!will PM you so I can get an autographed copy!

@Ingtaer.... I use 1/8" Masonite. Maybe called "hardboard" where you are. It's smooth on one side (very very smooth) and rough on the other but regular grid like. Sometimes has holes drilled in it and renamed "peg board". That's the base. Cut an amorphic shape with a coping saw, jigsaw, scroll saw or band saw.

Then 1/8" cork board like for a bulliten board. Frequently sold in 1'x1' tiles. Break it out with your fingers and glue (PVA) it to your hardboard. Make a pool with islands. Make sure the cork overlaps with your hardboard.

Back to the saw. Trim off the excess cork around the perimeter.

Black primer or acrylic paint.

Drybrush cork edges dark brown

Drier-brush cork edges lighter brown

Watered down PVA (WD-PVA) interior pools. Sprinkle with your sand of choice. Allow to dry.

WD-PVA the tops of cork edges and sprinkle on "Woodland Scenics Blended Turf".

Allow to dry.

Masking tape edges of entire base for next step.

Add cattails (bullrushes) of appropriate scale.

Fill cork rimmed resevoir with "Woodland Scenics Murky Deep Pour Water".

Allow to dry.

Little more WD-PVA on beaches. Add "citadel static grass"

Little CA glue and add Tufts of grass from your favorite mfr. I think these were galeforce9.

Done....

Wow. More complex than I remember. It's easy. I swear. Just time.
