This was my first foray into 40K models (not yet into playing the game at time of painting). The color scheme is of course not canon, just something I thought would look interesting. I don't think the squad is valid in terms of #/type of special weapons but again I was just going by visual interest. I also wasnt aware that plasma guns are supposed to glow. <g>

Very nice. The look great. Im assuming its NOT your first forray into painting minis. Welcome to 40k!

Glory is fleeting, but obscurity lasts forever.

Considering also your duty as a warrior you should not waver. Because there is nothing more auspicious for a warrior than a righteous war.

Very nice, clean with subtle but effective highlighting and shading. Personally I find grey colour schemes a little boring (perhaps it's because they remind me of the unpainted plastic), but that's a simple matter of taste, it doesn't change the fact that they are very well painted.

Very nice and very clean painted. I like them.

Whats interesting is that this was actually laid down as a green scheme, but it didnt really come off as such. The main color is Vallejo Green Grey (like German WWII cockpit color) and the dark is Vallejo Bronze Green, which on the pallet looks quite rich, but on the model less so. The trim on the shoulder pads is a true neutral grey.

Now that I take a second look I can see a slight greenish tint IF I'm looking for it. Maybe it's the photo or my monitor making it look a bit more monochrome than it is in real life.

This is the new gold dress, looks grey with blue trim to me hahaha.

Also looks very well executed, really like the effect on the guns.
