How well does each chapter do with pure primaris forces now that Vanguard Primaris are out?

All the Vanilla marine chapters, Dark Angels, Blood Angels, Space Wolves.

If anyone could show a list of strengths different pure Primaris forces have in each of these chapters, that would be helpful.

I’ve heard different things. RG can pretty well use vanguard. You could always work Ultramarines somehow. I’m starting to think it may be possible to pull some shenanigans with Blood Angels Reivers, a Librarian, a Chaplain, and a Princep of Decieit Warlord.

I’d love to here everybody’s non-I hate Primaris thoughts.

If the truth can destroy it, then it deserves to be destroyed.

vanguard are well suited for vanguard yes, but their rules IMHO don't really mesh well with vanguard.

I think of the vanilla chapters Ultramarines are best. their retreat and shoot special rule is nice. their warlord trait is a solid one.their relic is, likewise, pretty damn good, their stratigium is something that is useally going to be met with "eh" but I think on supressors it will actually have a place

I have not tried the new Vanguard. I have, however, used Primaris plenty with Dark Angels. Dark Angels Hellblasters can kill pretty much anything with Weapons From the Dark Age. Azrael and a Primaris Lt make them lethal and resilient. Add in an Ancient for extra fun. Bolt Rifles are pretty good now with the Beta Bolter rules and Grim Resolve. Aggressors work really well with Azrael. He gives them a 4++ and the re-rolls on hits. I run a decent Azrael Primaris Deathball. I stands or fall on its Invul saves, and it needs a mobile element for many of the missions. Still, I now run mostly Primaris for the "Greenwing" portion of my Dark Angels.

All you have to do is fire three rounds a minute, and stand

I mainly chose mine to be Dark Angels because I had double-up of Dark Vengeance still lying around, but I think they will work well rules-wise.

Primaris can be given Inner Circle and Deathwing keyword with a stratagem, other stratagems are useful too, like letting Hellblaster squads shoot after falling back, or you can give their plasma +1 strength for a turn.

The Huntsman warlord trait looks nice on the Phobos Master or even the lieutenant, to constantly throw fire at enemy characters regardless of where they are, as well as character-targeted heroic intervention. Although I imagine many will use Target Priority to keep plasma-wielders (which Dark Angel fluffy lists are brimming with) safe.

Normal DA interromancy Librarians can also give additional -1 to hit for enemies making Phobos excruciatingly hard to kill in cover.
