Why the hell havent GW released the order dice as separate purchases?
Everything else is available, but not the dice? I mean, GW seem to have a thing for releasing obnoxious unusable dice for each and every little thing they announce for everything else, but in a game where the specialised dice are integral to the game mechanics they dont? What gives...

Have there been any official word on when these will be available and ive just missed?

No.

Six dice should usually be enough. If not, just find someone who wants one too, get 3 sets and half it for 9 each.

Since they also don't usually have to be rolled, besides Sabotage and some outliers, tokens will do just as well. I know we made a bazillion cardboard tokens for those too when we had larger BFG matches coming, new AT ain't got nuthin' compared to that mountain of chits

It just makes no sense that among all the dice-puking GW is doing they cant manage to put out some dice that is actually useful...

Its a bit like the Kill Team situation where the core manual doesn't come with counters and you can't buy a set separately, unless you fork out for a faction box or two.

Its doubtful many players are going to purchase two rulesets just for additional order dice. There is just enough in the ruleset for a single force( 5 titans and one support banner ), but if hosting a game one can only hope the other player has bought their own dice...

Also, assuming if official GW Titanicus events don't provide the dice and insist on GW branded items only, what is a player supposed to do?

Another little niggle is that a banner of Knights can roll a lot more than the given 12 D6s for attacks with the Questoris Avenger and Castigator Bolt nerf guns. If even only two Knights in either banner are armed with such weapons they need about 14-16 D6s. If you have a full banner of them...good luck! Seriously though, we all have loads of D6s lying around...

Since most gaming events require you to bring a set of the rules then everyone should also have a set of the dice.

Exactly. Poor sod will most likely have to purchase a second ruleset if they need to use more than six units.

Come to think of it, though, they have only just released an FAQ for AT. Maybe the official events up until now have been low-unit count games to help work out the kinks of the game before taking it further into larger events. A separate dice set could be around the corner...

There haven’t been any official events, have there?

They had the Horus Heresy Weekender and the recent Warhammer event where games were played. I'm assuming its "correct models only".
