would you favor current Roboute over Kharn in a fight?

of course Roboute is a primarch, but Kharn is a fighting machine, with so much experience?

would it at least be a competitive fight?

I don't think this fight would ever happen unless the scenario is set up in a way Kharn could win? Like, he's a bloodthirsty maniac but he is very specifically also not an idiot.

Bobby G would rip him in half. Background from the HH makes it clear that one on one no marine is going to stand up to a primarch for long.

After nearly being killed Horus is buried under piles of attacking Space Wolf elites. He just walks through them. So yes Guilliman can take Kharn.

I like Kharn. But he'd get thumped. Now...put Lucius against Guilliman. Lucius loses, Guilliman dies and becomes Lucius. Write it, GW!! Right now!!

It would be more interesting if Roboute had to fight Lucius the Eternal...

Kharn or Khan do you mean, as in Jaghatai Khan, if its the first one, then yep, saving for plot armour, Guilliman would win, if its the latter, then Jaghatai would curb stomp guilliman hard.

would Bobby G vs. Abaddon be a closer fight?

Zombie Bob vs Ascendent Abaddon... I think A Bad Don may have a chance if he can disarm Gilly's Sword.

Obviously in HH era he'd be an Easy Kill!

Going back to the original point of discussion, I think Kharn could avoid a few blows, maybe even draw blood (and surely a primarch's blood is to Khorne's tastes!) but ultimately it would be Kharn's skull going to the throne that day (and what a worthy skull it is!)

Abby would stand more of a chance but even he would likely come up short. Celestine hurt him pretty good and likely would have won if not for the pylons suddenly sapping her strength.

Which was quite satisfying to read, at that.

Celestine with her full power was then defeated by Kharn making Kharn probably more dangerous in pure combat than Abbadon. As for Kharn against Guilliman the situation is a bit more boring. Primarchs have been pretty much established to be invincible. Only a Primarch can kill another Primarch or bar that the Emperor who has been described as even more invincible. Then again, nobody knows how much "Space Marine" is left in Kharn. Like Celestine and all other Chaos Marine, he can receive power ups or down based on te whim of their fickle deities. You can easily give excuses to make Kharn more powerful than a Primarch or really just swap plot armor around.

would gulliman really feel sastifcation from the kill though? or would he jusy casually backhand Lucuius and walk off as he dies

I dislike Roboute and Kharn equally so I'd be happy if both ended up dying.

People thinking Roboute vs Lucius would end with Roboute taken over have forgotten that Roboute has a SOUL-DESTROYING SWORD.

Can't be taken over by Lucius if he doesn't exist anymore.
