I know the answer is probably no, but i want to be sure.
If i have unit that have screen with 1 wound model that is screening character and i have 10 shoots(10 models), can i first fire until i kill the 1 wound model and after that target the character ?

Not 100% sure I'm understanding you correctly, but if I am you're saying that you have a situation where a single model with 1 wound that is not a character is closer to a 10-man unit (each of which can fire 1 shot) than a character model is to that 10-man unit.

In this case, no, the whole 10 man unit has to choose its targets prior to making any shots. You won't be able to kill the 1-man unit and allow "spill over fire" into the character afterwards.

You declare your targets before you roll dice. At that moment, you are not still allowed to declare the character because it's not the closest model.

As the others have said, you must declare targets before rolling to hit. When you declare your targets, the CHARACTER is not a valid target, thus cannot be targeted.

Yea, i guess i was like that. I was just hopping to somehow manage to get through character shielding character BS and don`t waist my shoots on one target.
The topic should be closed.
