I have a friend that spam TS and daemon characters, i don`t think he really use the rule right.
Sometimes he will use daemon smite and than cast mite with TS on 5 and not on six.
As far as i can tell if you cast first with TS psychers the smite does not increase, but if you first cast with the daemons the smite increase even for the TS characters.

So i think

1. Cast with TS character on 5
2. Cast with daemon character on 5.
3. Cast with TS character on 6.
4. Cast with daemon character on 6.
5. Cast with TS character on 7.

No, smite is always 5 for tsons. And always +1 for every non tsons daemon. It doesnt matter who cast smite first.

1. Smite with daemons = 5
2. Smite with daemons = 6
3. Smite with tsons = 5
4. Smite with daemons = 8
5. Smite with tsons = 5
6. Smite with daemons = 10

or

1. Smite with tsons = 5
2. Smite with daemons = 6
3. Smite with tsons = 5
4. Smite with daemons = 8
5. Smite with tsons = 5
6. Smite with daemons = 10

p5freak has it right. You should do your Daemon smites first to get the most benefit
