Subject: A guide to upgrading your old chaos units to new chaos units. Help
The new ones are probably the same as the current goody marines. I bought some devastators a while back and they're all a little bit taller than the old chaos marines.
That said, they're still probably representing the same units. Don't feel like you have to butcher your whole army for new leg details.

Couldn't say about loadouts but you're still allowed to use the old codex/index for any missing units.
By old. I don't mean ancient. They're already on 32 mm bases. By old I mean the latest edition before GW's recent release of chaos models in shadow spear.
I'm looking for a size comparison. Between the shadow spear chaos and previous edition of chaos. Including Terminators.
I'm looking for help to upscale my old models to match the newer stuff In size.
I really appreciate any help.

Can't a Chaos god just 'bless' some of your army with size variations?
Seriously, Chaos has better fluff than anyone else to justify tall/short troops (or extra/fewer limbs/heads/etc) - if anything, I'd be more worried about the armour style looking inconsistent. But you're right, mixing/matching old and new parts could still be a great way to make every figure unique.

I was going to say just put new arms and weapons on, its what I have done to my 2nd ed metals to make then look a bit better, the old hands were too big for the body size

After looking at the pictures. I think that I have a solution.
I'm going to buy bitz for the new kits arms and torosos and power packs , and legs. Once the bitz companies start selling newer choas. I'm than going to buy used Warhammer Age of sigmar Khorn bloodwarriors. And mix them in with the new kits. Legs of the bloodwarriors won't be used. I can reuse older heads because it's world eaters. I have some forge world heads already for world eaters. I'm concerned about the shoulder pads from forge world but it's probably a small fix.
I only have Two squads to do ten men each. So it's not alot..
I don't foresee a lot of problems. With the exception of the heavy weapons. Probably going to have to replace all the heavy weapons.
Maybe order some Shapeways stuff. I'm going to fire off an email to pop goes the monkey and ask them to make a conversion kit. If not I'm buying a decent 3D printer soon so I can probably make my own arms legs and torosos with that.
Anyone else know if alternative 40k ish models choas looking models are sized closely to the Nu-choas marines?
Does anybody have a size comparison of bloodwarriors and new chaos models?
Thanks.
