Whilst creating this list, I tried to make it balanced and ready for any army it'd come across. It has 3 detachments (all of which are different dynasties) and gives plenty of command points to spend.

  • Game plan:

Depending on what type of army I come up against, I have many options at my disposal:

    - The scarabs can be used for screening from first turn charges and bubble wrapping the C'tan as he moves up the board.

    - The Tesla Immortals can be MWBDd and re-roll wounds of one from the lord in order to melt hordes (not to mention the extra AP from the dynasty buff). And if I am up against a more standard list they will be outputting a substantial amount of hurt.

    - The Gauss Immortals are there to help deal with power armour armies and other higher toughness foes. Other than this, they also will output a scary amount of damage to light vehicles with the assistance of the Lord - this is noted because the opponent will target the destroyers in most situations.

    - Overlord/Lord are there to sit around the immortals. Yeah that's about it really.

    - Destroyers/cryptek with veil to get up close and personal with a high-priority target. Will use the stratagem for the destroyers to output maximum damage. If this is not practical I can move them up along with the tomb blades to create a death bubble with invuln saves. The cryptek can keep up with the destroyers and tomb blades because of the Nephrekh thing.

    - Tomb Blades will either become a death bubble or grab objectives. In addition to this, I have found that they work incredibly well as screens due to how hard they are to remove.

    - Transcendent C'tan is there to reliably dish out mortal wounds and scare people off my moving up the board surrounded by robot spider things. Also it can explode if it gets stuck in melee.

    - DDArks are there to sit at the back and deal out some, if rather unreliable, anti tank damage.

-last cryptek is just a cheap hq tbh.

Thanks for taking the time to read this. If you have any suggestions as to how I could edit the list i would be very appreciative. Thanks again.

Some suggestions : Your DDAs dont benefit from sautekh dynasty, and your ctan doesnt have a dynasty. At least give the cryptek a cloak, that way he can repair the DDAs. If you remove the detachment you can add the DDAs and the ctan to the other detachments and save 95 pts. If you change your battalion to sautekh and replace the overlord with imotekh as your warlord he gets hyperlogical strategist. He can use MWBD twice for free on sautekh units, gives you 1CP, and has the storm ability, but you lose AP-1 at half range. If you change the sautekh spearhead to nihilakh you lose the hyperlogical strategist WLT, but your DDAs get to re-roll hit rolls of 1, when they didnt move.

Drop one of the crypteks and add the heavy support to the battalion to make one big sautekh detachment. Their +1 to hit strategem is good. Use the DDA as mobile gunboats when necessary. Drop the shadowlooms and give the other cryptek a cloak 5++ isn't that great. Make the overlord the warlord to survive better vs sniper fire. Add more tomb blades and scarabs. Dropping the ctan for a 3rd DDA is optional.

Better warlord trait is immortal pride to help with moral and deny the witch.

Nihilakh is a trap this game is based on movement phase.

I concur. Necrons struggle with CPs as our HQs are so expensive; an extra HQ for just one more CP isn't worth it due to lethality reduction in the broader list. Sautekh is pretty solid for the DDAs and alleviates your fear of using them aggressively. Immortal Pride should go on whatever your "lynchpin" HQ should be, so if it is the Overlord, you get extra survivability. If you want to use the OL more offensively, its also solid on your Cryptek babysitter.
