Hello 40K Reddit, I've come here seeking fandom critique on my story ideas. Be aware they deviate considerably from established cannon, however I feel it's necessary. There isn't enough lore or insights into Necron politics or society structure outside wars. Yes, I am aware they're killer robots yet there's so much untapped potential... But back on point.

The first story is a curious one and, depending on lore adherence, deviates most. This story idea I call Flayers Of Commaragh

Synopsis: The War in Heavens was an event perpetrated by the C'tan, or so one Cryptex believes. Because she's incapable of comprehending most emotions, she has no reservations against employing a Haemonculous's expertise. The Haemonculous in question is intrigued by what an acient foe might offer. Not only that, the sheer taboo that accompanies such associations is too alluring for one as depraved to decline.

Biolinquist Cryptoria (Cryptek Biologist) seeks a cure for the Flayer Virus. She reveals as such to the Haemonculous, and together, despite opposing agendas, tackle the Necron plague. The Haemonculous is generously compensated witb thousands of human slaves, from which he integrates Flayer stricken Necros into. His own curiosity is peaked by this endeavor. He cares little for the Necrons, as expected. The prospect of rewriting a divine beings last will and testament, effectively dening a gods last decree is another matter.

The Cryptek is slowly succumbing to the Flayer Virus. As she succumbs, certain emotions are stirred to life. She remembers past delicacies, old dinners where family gathered to dine on bitter meats and farmed algae. Delusions follow and the Flayers her and the Haemonculous operate on begin to resemble those deceased relatives.

Flayers grafted onto human subjects and capable of a digestive track begin showing signs of rehabilitation. While most can't recall much, their once insatiable hunger is satiated. The Cryptek observes the synaptic response from well fed humans and makes attempts to mimic that response through Necron AI.

Grand discoveries are made during this most unlikely communion. Their combined efforts would've lead to a credible treatment, but alas, 40K has no happy endings...

This second story idea is me trying to develop Destroyers more. All these stories take place in the same dynasty, so heads up.

Synopsis: Destroyer Patriach, Unak'Klauz leads spear heads a campaign against intersecting Tyranid Hive Fleet Tendrils. These invaders threaten the Ushakra Dynasty, his dynasty, so strives to ckmbat this innumerable foe on two-fronts. His advanced algorithm systems help dictate the appropriate tactics, devise a thousand possibilities the Tyranids will adapt, thus devises immediate response strategems. He's a veteran of the War in Heaven, one who's failed too many times. Not o ly is he motivated to redeem himself, despite few remembering that era, but feels compelled to flaunt Necron supremacy... But he can't.

There are hundreds of billions of Necrons, perhaps trillions in the Ushakra Dynasty yet he only has a handful. The maddened Overlord struggles to impose his will amongst the thousands of nobility, and in doing so, cannot garner the support Unak requires.

Unak can organize perfect strategies by his lonesome and ensures that orders are carried down te command chain with precision. Unfortunately there isn't enough under his command. Unknown factors deviate from the main theaters and nobility eccentricities pull much needed Warriors from the fields. Most prominent among these units, the Flayer hoards nominally used to answer Gaunt hoards

That's all I have since this is the kind of story I'd like to build off. It feels like this kind of story would be one that would expamd into others and introduce plenty of characters... Just thoughts

Finally, a story that revolves around the ethics of Biotransference and why it's a contested subject.

Synopsis: A conclave of Crypteks from varying gather to debate a social taboo; Biotransference. The technology exists, there's no question about that, it's a matter of the hypocrisy that permeates its use. Some advocate for its resurgence so they sooner end current conflicts and move forward. Others retort in an unusually patriotic fashion, stating Necrons are eternal, that resorting to such dubious methods is weakness. A more promient argument is presented that addresses the metaphorical elephant in the room; stripping the soul.

It' is not unknown that Necrons have different opinions regarding their current form. Some will scoff at the notion, stating the lesser races have no souls. Some will sight the blatat hypocrisy and debates will dissolve into recycled retorts and arguments with no end in sight.

Alas, th Ushakran Overlord, Imotekh, Trazyn, and other prominent figures who pay audience from distant star systems take the debates as a universal example of what instituting Biotrasference would entail; another civil war.

The Necron Overlords from over a hundred dynasties make a sort of Geneva Convention on their ethics of war. This begins by demonizing Biotransference, and any who utilizes it, signers or not, are traitors to the Silent King, their Overlord, and the Necron race.

Please criticize these ideas to your hearts content. Feel free to harp on the lore breaking or just scoffing. Any criticism is good in my books.

P.S I am typing on a tablet so expect copious amounts of typos and spelling errors.
