Hey dude's people are always brilliantly helpful on this website.

Could anyone shed some light on how this model (from Pinterest, not mine) was given the sticky substance look between his fingers. I recently got space hulk nd I would love to model the nids in in to have this effect but I can't find info on the substance the artist used.

Yeah agree it looks like hot glue but you can also get a similar effect with thin clear fishing line super glued in place then slathered with gloss varnish.

It's probably UHU Glue, which is a common material to make slime/saliva with. There's a bunch of different types that UHU makes, but I think the All Purpose (with the black cap) is what's used for this effect.
