Ok so here we go (I play 7th by the way but 8th I expect is the same).

Marine unit 1 ,an ork Nobz unit in the middle and flanked by another Marine unit 2 like this.

M1 M2
M 1 M2
M 1 NNNNNNN M2
M 1 M2
M 1 M2

Marines unit 1 cause 1 unsaved wound, Marines unit 2 causes 1 unsaved wound.
Do the Nobz have a unit with 2 wounded figures? or is one Nobz model removed

IIRC in 7th it's closest model in the target unit is wounded and in 8th you apply wounds to already wounded models, but you pick who takes the first wound.

In 8th, one model is removed. I can't remember 7th.

7th Edition: Closest model always takes the wound, and you can have multiple wounded models in a unit.

8th Edition: The controlling player allocates wounds to whatever Nob he wants, but once one has taken a wound, he keeps taking it till he dies.

Clocks for the clockmaker! Cogs for the cog throne!
