Anyone in love with the anime world probably knows about the horrible defamation of Vic. He currently hasn’t a lawsuit against these idiots for the defamation of character he has suffered. What do you guys think Funimation will do once he has won his case? Please no KickVic supporters, as we all know it would simply be posting here to stir up trouble.

Essentially, after the dragon bal super broly movie had been filmed, Monica(who voices bulma) came out saying years back Vic sexually assaulted her. What this boiled down to is 2 incidents. One is he tried kissing her (which she admits she allowed to happen because she “feared her life”) and the second he ate a jelly bean she signed for him and said “now I can say I’ve eaten Monica”.
after this, a few other women came forward. Vic was dropped by rooster teeth and by Funimation before any investigation or determination on what actually happened. Funimation went so far as to pull his name off of all of his work. From dragonball to full metal alchemist. Now when asked for proof, the kickvic side states they don’t need evidence to know the truth. Luckily, Vic got tired of it all and has filed a class action lawsuit. Now individuals on Monica’s side have began attacking yourubers such as yellow flash and that umbrella guy, so far as to threatening family members and attempting to start their own lawsuit for “doxing”. These people include Renfamous and Marzgurl. It’s a sad scenario. What is happening is Vic is obviously going to win. No one has any proof of what they “say” Vic did. Vic has Funimation as one of the individuals he is sueing, as well as Monica and her fiancé. Funimation is being closely watched by Toei Animation now due to this whole scenario.

So the usual sexual harassment in media and dudebros holding women to impossibly high standards of evidence for something that's not even a court case and patting themselves on the back about it?
*Yawn*
I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

Looks like it - he admitted & apologised for it, and is now suing because no-one will give him work.

Voice actor claims defamation, interference in business, civil conspiracy over sexual harassment investigation
Voice actor Vic Mignogna filed a lawsuit against the anime distributor Funimation, voice actresses Jamie Marchi and Monica Rial, and Rial's fiancé Ronald Toye (whom the lawsuit alleges is "either a Funimation agent or employee") on Thursday in Tarrant County, Texas. Mignogna claims defamation, interference in existing contracts and prospective business relations, and civil conspiracy over the defendants' Twitter posts and Funimation's investigation against Mignogna for alleged sexual harassment.
Mignogna is seeking "monetary relief over $1,000,000.00" in part due to Funimation no longer contracting him for future productions, as well as conventions canceling his appearances. Mignogna and his lawyer are also seeking "judgment against the Defendants for actual, consequential and punitive damages according to the claims ... in amounts to be determined on final hearing, pre- and post-judgment interest at the highest rate permitted by law, and costs of court" in addition to "such other and further relief to which he may be justly or equitably entitled" and "general relief."
Mignogna is represented by Ty Beard of Beard Harris Bullock Hughes in Tyler, Texas.
The lawsuit alleges that Sony executive Tammi Denbow told Mignogna in mid-January she was "investigating three allegations of sexual harassment against him," and that on January 29 "Denbow and another Sony executive informed [Mignogna] that his employment with Funimation was terminated" following an investigation. Denbow is listed on LinkedIn as "Executive Director, Employee Relations at Sony Pictures Entertainment." Sony Pictures Television Networks acquired a majority stake in FUNimation in October 2017.
The lawsuit mentioned that "[o]n February 5, 2019, Funimation informed Anime News Network that Vic's employment had been terminated." ANN did not report on February 5 that Mignogna's employment had been terminated, but reported that he was recast in the English dub of The Morose Mononokean II anime. Funimation posted a public statement on Twitter on February 11 that it would not engage Mignogna on future productions.
Mignogna has been accused by a number of con attendees of kissing and embracing them without consent over the course of his career with some allegations dating back to 2008. These allegations spread on social media earlier this year. Fellow voice actors have publicly issued anecdotes of their personal experiences with Mignogna or support for those speaking out via social media.
Rooster Teeth has replaced Mignogna in the cast of RWBY. Many of Mignogna's convention appearances have been canceled.
Mignogna issued an apology at the Bak-Anime event in early February, and posted a public statement later that month. On February 21, Mignogna posted another statement on Twitter that read, "I have now very reluctantly retained a law firm as my last and only recourse to attempt to salvage my reputation and my 20-year career in this industry."

Impossible standards? In a court of law you have to prove you allegation. Innocent until proven guilty. Also he admitted to being sorry for doing things he though fans loved, such as embracing in hugs, kisses on the cheek. No one said “no” until now, because of “me too” mentality. I see who is kick Vic. Sad.

Sounds like "Vic" will likely lose. He is a public figure so standards for slander and libel are very high.

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.
