Eye of Terror

Preparing to start on a couple Renegade Knights. Looking to do some sculpting and relief work, along the lines of what's seen in this article.

https://leskouzes.blogspot.com/2018/05/renegade-demon-knight-of-slaanesh-part-1.html

Concerned I may be too influenced by a single reference and wasn't able to find many other examples.

Can anyone share a) other examples of converted Renegade Knights and / or b) other examples of Slaanesh imagery (appropriate for a large model like this?)

While I don't have a Slaaneshi Knight, I can share my suitably inappropriate Daemon Princess (who is around the size of modern Greater Daemons, so should be the scale you're looking for) I made some years ago. She's definitely a different style from what you linked.

NSFW warning, because Slaanesh:

Spoiler:

Might I also suggest something as simple as writhing tentacles around some edges as I did to give the marker for my Inquisitor's daemon weapon a little bit of thematic framing:

I'd probably wait, considering the Renegade Knight incoming.
