As long as it's a BLACK LEGION SORCERER, yes. It simply states to generate a warlord trait. This warlord trait can be any warlord trait the model may take, not just the ones from Vigilus Ablaze. Since the Sorcerer is a Chaos Space Marine PSYKER CHARACTER, he can take the Warp Lord trait.
