Hello all.

I'm a big fan of the game HATE. The only problem with it is that the 3D terrain is pretty slippery (as are most smooth plastics) and the minis can slide off if accidentally bumped.
Is there a varnish or paint that is less slippery so that the minis are less prone to sliding? A varnish would be perfect as that way I could paint the scenery first.

Thank you!

Apply a spray can matte varnish, but hold the can further back than you normally would when spraying. This will make the particles start drying before they hit the terrain leading to a bumpy, grainy effect that should be what you want. Obviously test it first to see if it’s not too much.
