It irks me badly that after so many examples for games like dawn of war or space marine, GW still can't figure out how to 'sell' power armor at a larger scale. The hips and upper legs are ridiculously badly proportioned. No excuse at 7", I can't unsee it, there is an 8 ft tall 60 pound dude in that suit. Git'im a sammich!

I still quite like it but I agree, there's no real reason why they can't get proper proportions on this guy. The other Bandai ranges don't seem that limited in that regard.

If only GW took feedback on these early design images.

It's like Terminator thighs, one you see it, you can't really not see it ever again. Which sucks, because in both cases the rest of it is awesome.

Maybe as has been posited the issue revolves around articulation, but honestly I still lean heavily to it being an approved aesthetic choice. Bandai is way too good at this stuff not to be able to figure out how to make bigger hips and uppers legs thicker than the wrists...

Honestly Bandai kits are pretty damn reasonable for what you get. I predict that it is actually GW that will cause the price to go up, but if this is detailed in line with an RG or HG Gunpla, then it should be between 20-30. Because of GW I would say prob more like 35-40.

Could be well off, we'll see -

It's not a model kit, so you're looking at the wrong price comparisons. It's more likely going to be priced like their Figuarts lines, so more like $60-100 USD depending on size(not just height but mass), accessories, whether it includes a stand, and so on. Most likely, it'll be in the $70-90 range like their Sentai/Kamen Rider figuarts.

You are quite right sir my bad... I am used to seeing that red square on a box full of sprues lol.

Sorry but $100 US for this is mind bogglingly insane. You can get an MG V3 Gundam RX-78-2 for half that, and Several MG VerKA's for less...

The balls on GW to charge that much for a vastly simpler kit is pretty mindblowing... even by GW standards, which are already pretty high to begin with, this is beyond overpriced imo.
