I am newer to 40k, I came in via kill team, I bought the Burning of Prospero heresy box because I love that armor style the best, I found a good deal on an older battle box that contained 20 marines, a chaplain, a land raider, 5 simple build terminators and a dreadnought. I am trying to figure out either the best way to wolf them out or possibly other styles that I could use to make them into Space Wolves. Any help or comments would be appreciated.

I recommend getting one Space Wolves Pack box. It has a ton of wolfy bits and you can easily spread them out to your other models to make a large number of moderately wolfed guys instead of ten super wolfed guys.

Good recommendation, Crimson. Mixing and matching parts from that box will quickly Wolf-out 20-30 guys. There are at least twice as many heads in that box as bodies and looks like there are plenty of options. I've done something similar with Death Company sprues for my Blood Angels with there being around 3 times as many arm/weapon options as there are guys in the kit.
Misfittoy, there are also Space Wolves upgrade kits in plastic for both old and Primaris Marines, and again, mixing and matching parts from those with other Marine kits should work well. You could have more veteran guys with more wolfy bling, whilst some of the younger recruits would have yet to earn their trophies. There are some third-party companies who make wolf-themed bits too that you could add-on, but that's getting more expensive.

I'll back what Crimson says, a single pack of space wolves infantry can go a long way. and you can assmble them as blood claws if you're worried about ahving too many "Tac squads"

There are two Space Wolf upgrade sprues that are pretty cheap.
As someone said a Space Wolf Pack can be spread through the Burning of Prospero set pretty easily which also makes the guys you absolutely wolf up stand out as important.
The Start Collecting kit is decent value and Thunderwolf Cavalry are brimming with wolfy bits.
Wolf Guard Terminators are also great for wolfy bits.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go. |

This can also be used, gives some extra shoulder pads, and some stuff to upgrade weapons and such.

I prefer that scheme too.
Green stuff and a fork.
Make shawls to throw over their shoulders and use the fork to make the shawls look like fur cloaks.
There are some YouTube tutorials that will help.
