So there is a new lovecraft inspired board game up on kickstarter. It looks realy interesting. Its a cooperative boardgame where each one controls an inverstigator and its the players job to stop the cultists and close portals. With expansions you can get a different mission.

Cultistorm is the expression of our respect and love for H. P. Lovecraft. It is more than just an ordinary board game – this is a Lovecraftian gaming experience with literary and musical dimensions. Our theme choice was motivated by a deep commitment to the work and heritage of H. P. Lovecraft. We want to create an excellent board game for those who know and love Lovecraft, and we would like to make Lovecraft’s work known to those who are board game fans.

They've posted an update about some expansions: Introducing Cultist Events, Creatures, and Special Cultists

Yes, the game seems great and the developers do everything right. Backed it from the start.
Sadly, they chose a realistic funding goal and as such, didn't get the "funded in 1 hour!!!1111" nonsense other Kickstarters pull off. I still hopeit funds, is at 81% with one week to go. But many people are swayed only by 1000% over-fullfilled add-on fests...

sadly this is true. Just hope that everybody who is waiting for it to reach 100% just back so it will actualy reach the 100%
