Any advice, comments welcome.

What are you hoping to do with the list? If it's for casual play then you have a strong and fluffy list. If you're looking for tournament play then I think the first battalion is great but then you need a variety of tools at your disposal to take it further. All you have at the minute is bolters and plasma.

If youre facing someone who can outshoot you like a triple riptide tau list it'll be hard work. If your playing a lot of tough bodies (especially with - to hit) like eldar flyer lists. It'll be tough too.

For my tastes daemons will fill that gap best, khorne daemon princes, bloodletter bombs and fiends of slanesh are great ways to target difficult units.

You could alternatively go for alpha legion, either daemon engines (2 lord discordants and 3 venom crawlers).

Finally you could go Ahriman and 2 or 3 tson daemon princes.

I play with huron and 40 marines regularly and they are good value. Although I'm waiting for Renegade knights codex which I think will work well alongside!

Actually I redesigned it with this, I think it's a lot better, what about you?

Yeah looks lots better for mobility and gives you more options with Havocs.

I would try and find points for combi plasma on all your champions and would take warptime over delightful agonies on your sorcerer to get those reaper chancannon Havocs range t1. As they're pretty likley to be target number 1.

That's a good point, given they move and shoot with no penalties. Warptime/Presience for 2+ hitting!

Yeah looking good, would definately pack a punch and with enough CP to recycle those marines you're likely to have quite a bit of board control.

Now you just have to raid every bitz site in the world to find all those plasma/combi plasma guns

I was thinking about just grabbing some off Shapeways to save time. 12 bucks for 10 isn't a bad price. I thought there was a whole "no model, no rules thing" but apparently that's not actually true.

Yeah only in official GW events like the GT in the UK. Everywhere else that plays ITC or ETC only care if your model looks right. I have 4 Kromlek reaper chaincannons and nobody has ever said anything.
