New to BL. GW got me with the new models....

Made a 2000 list trying to include as much of what I want in there and I really don't like the list I have.

Supreme Command
Dark Apostle (-1 to hit)
2x Lord Discordant

Battalion
Abaddon
Termy Sorcerer (+1 to hit, Warptime)
Master of possession

20 Man CSM squad w/2x Plasma/ Combi Plasma/ Chain Axe
5x CSM
5x CSM

10x Terms w/ Chain Axe Combi Plasma
5x Terms w/ Chain Axe Combi Bolter
5x Terms w/ Chain Axe Combi Bolter

Thoughts? What would you change to make this list better?

So I've been running the following:

Abaddon
2Lord w/chainsword abd BP
1 Exalted Champ sword/pistol
Apostle (-1 hit)
Sorcerer (+1hit, Delightful Agonies)

3X5 CSM (with Combi-Plas and Plas)

20 Cultists (screen)

1X7 Plague Marines (Obj holders)

2X7 Termines (Mixed weapons, Axes, Fists, Bolters)

2X3 Obliterators (Slan)

I don't really like Cultists unless you are taking A LOT of them. 3x5 man CSM seems like a better idea. I could drop 15 CSM and 3 plasma guns and I'd have enough points for 2 units of havocs. You think that would work better?

Havoks work really well, but you need to have a sorcerer or Dark Apostle to support them with spells/prayers.

4 Chain Cannons and 4 Missile Launchers is what I typically run and they usually earn their points back against most armies quickly.

The one issue I often note with CSM squads (which is negated by Red Corsairs) is that power armor in general just sucks. 3+ means literally nothing in this game anymore when it is on a t4 body. :(

Too many termites imo, you field abbadon but no cultist screen blob, which would be very usefull for recycling durability and screening.

You field 20 CSM squad instead in an army that rather not fields as many. ( if you really want to field csm go with red Corsairs)

The dark apostle, regardless of prayer, is a trap choice sadly .

I don't see a reason for the MoP in this list so far, the Lord discordants want to be fast the MoP is not.

Cut the dark apostle, get the two Lord discordants into a battalion with the marines that is red Corsairs. (generates 3 more CP that way and speeds up the Lord discordants)

Cut the MoP and make with abbadon and the Termite sorcerer a vanguard (elites detachment)

So now we talk cp 2 from Abigail, 3 from bf, 8 from RC bat and 1 from the vanguard.
So 14 cp.
Left over points would be btw 198 through the cuts.

Alternativly still keep everything bl should still work.
