Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone can share with me a method of achieving blood effects on models, specifically entry/exit wounds. I have seen online of the UHU method which seems to be for stringy blood that you’d find in jaws of beasts but I’m looking for something that would look like fluid spraying out the body from a gunshot or puncture. I’m wanting to utilise this sort of effect on a diorama I am planning on building for Golden Demon next year.

Thanks in advance!

Blood For the Blood God is nice, but maybe not for Golden Daemon level, IDK.

Sadly Blood for the Blood God is far too runny. I’m wanting to create an effect that looks like liquid travelling through the air

So basically you want a blood spray?

If so consider some see through plastic, cut it in rough form of the blood jet, chew it a bit around with your back teeth, fix it with some greenstuff.

(i mean the plastic that comes with stuff like Frixon bullpen loads). That could do the trick, not sure about it though since i never have done something similiar but it should give a sharb but not sharp enough look for a blood spray after a cut or slash.

I found this set of tutorials which may be more applicable than the UHU method:
