I ran this list the other day, I was aiming towards being casual rather than trying to be competitive. It was decided in advance both lists were going to have an auxillary superheavy detachment.

I felt that the trio of broadsides even with Railguns was a bit OP. The storm surge with the multi-ranged gun was not good, but by turn 3 it was in position and the big gun was actually in range. The kroot character was garbage, and gun drones without a controller were decidedly meh. Pathfinders were removed pretty quick, and my commander was pretty limited until turn 4, where he was able to walk around with impunity. Everything else was doing a decent job, I particularly liked the gun drones on the hammerhead.
