Jay is back for another Matched Play game! This time the Devoted of Tzeentch are masquerading as the Legio Solara and running the Ferrox Light Maniple against my Fortis Maniple as we try out the new rules from Doom of Molech!

I'm making a Knight household force right now, do you guys have enough Knights to try one out? I'm really curious how it's going to work against a titan list.

I've got them to paint, but I'm going to wait for the accessories and big Knights to come out before I put them on the table. With the Cerastus and Questoris only the army is pretty potatoes.

Always fun to watch, but unfortunately a predictable outcome before the game started. Pretend the Warlord is not present...

The first Astorum Reaver is equal to the Solara Reaver, while the remaining two Astorum Reavers can each be overcome by a pair of Hounds. The Knights are pretty much on equal footing. In this situation, Astorum is out-gunned but quite capable of dishing out serious damage before being overwhelmed...unless the Knights get lucky to break from the enemy knights.

Now put the Warlord back in. Not only is he a lethal threat to the Solara Reaver( The only heavy-hitter ), hes now allowing all three Astorum Reavers to focus on overpowering the four hounds. As the Knights are on equal footing, the Reavers just need to put one hound out of action and its all over for Solara. One of those Reavers will eventually get a break to assist either the Warlord or the Knights in their grizzly work. Likewise, if the Warlord overwhelms the Solara Reaver...Sigh.

For Solara, and if the points agree, I'd recommend replacing two of the Hounds with a supporting Warlord and add more lancers. Or for Astorum replace the Warlord with a Warhound or Reaver.
