What is Arei no Kagami is all about? Its storyline that a band of three 'adventurers' board a space jet (quite a small ones compared to massive vehicles in his previous works since Space Yamato, Captain Harlock, and Galaxy Express 999)

Just watched it today. it is one of many animated works of Leiji Matsumoto (And thus much of his 'styles' (including his obsessions with number 0 (zero) as a character that appears in his pen name (零)) are fully represented in this short anime (20 minutes lenghts) with its endings incorporated an early 3D CG (I've learned that this movie was made for World Expo 1985 and was meant to flaunt a pinnacle of Japanese tech of that time and shout out loud that Japan is world tech leader now) since this anime dub is all in Japanese (with Portugese subs, Neither of which i can understand perfectly)

And if Leiji intended that this anime to be 'educational' what did he intended to teach (supposedly) VERY young audiences?

Interesting, I'd not even heard of this one. I'm going to have to give it a watch.

^ Be advised the Anime original dub is in Japanese.
It's quite a forgotten Leiji works compared to Captain Harlock or Galaxy Express 999, both of which sets in the SAME universe later named Leijiverse.
