Neither list juices my fruit, but I'd go with the top one out of the two.

If you can squeeze the points out of somewhere, you really want to max out those warrior blobs though. Or make one a 20 man and the other 11, leave them on backfield objectives.

what is your thinking as far as the doom scythe goes. If you are going to take them at all, take 3 and try to distract your opponent so that you can use the for us fire stratagem. It gets overlooked and can devastate a castled up army. Otherwise I'd drop it for something more useful.

In my opinion, warriors run 18+ or get left behind. The 3x doomscythe air wing is an awesome early distraction/poor placement punisher, and a detachment cp without hq tax. Run 3.

I played with the Imotekh list, but I can't get past giving up warlord 3; psyker deny + 6inch morale autopass.

TLDR: Warriors are 20 or bust. Convert small warrior groups to 5man gauss immorts. 10man immort squads get tesla but *need* my will be done, one per unit, for efficacy. Doomsday arks are gold at current cost. Run them aggressively. Maybe find room to swap 1 for a tesseract ark for super aggressive play.

Well, not my lists.
One of my primary aims when designing a list is to bring all weapons to bear asap.
This is rather ambitious if you manage to do it in round 1.
But this is not impossible with Deceiver and the right units.
