So I’m running a mordheim campaign set in the Moot and I was planning on having a large multi war and opening event. Does this seem A balanced and B like it would be fun to play?

This is what the players are given as far as direction.

Goblins raid brandenberry stealing everything that isn’t bolted down and somethings that are. They are currently gathered in the city square compiling their horde of loot.

Various war bands have been drawn to the ruckus caused by the goblins. Will they be successful in ridding the town of goblins and taking the spoils for themselves?

The intro mission is to take out and steal back the loot these goblins have taken.

There will be 5 “loot goblins” placed around the center of the board. They will need to be “downed” before their loot can be stolen. Each loot bag will count as Wrydstone(food). Each war and member can carry one bag at a time that can also be used as a improvised club. The player to get the most loot bags off the table wins.

This is the whole event rules.

Multiplayer game

place 6 loot goblins on the board 6” apart and no more than 12” from center of the board. Place 4 sewer tokens 12” from the board edge at the four cardinal points.

Loot goblins have the following profile
M WS BS S T W A I LD
4. 2. 2. 2. 2.1. 1. 3. 5

Special rules
Unwieldy bag. The bag of loot can easily be used as a improvised weapon giving a -1 to hit but otherwise acting like a club.

Nasty surprise. Every time a model makes base contact with a loot goblin roll a d6. On the roll of a 6 replace the loot goblin with a skaven clan rat. Alternatively the clan rat is revealed if there is only one loot goblin left.

When the clan rat is revealed place d6 giant rats at the north and south sewer tokens, D3 clan rats at the west sewer token, and place a rat ogre at the east sewer token.

Victory conditions:
Primary objective. Loot the loot goblins and escape the board.

Downing a loot goblin gives +1 exp
Holding a unwieldy sack at the end of the game counts as a Wyrdstone (food)
+1 exp for every clan rat out of action
+1 exp for each wound on the rat ogre
+3 exp for rat ogre out of action.

I forgot to mention that there are four players, a Ostlanders, Witch hunters, Vampire, Bretonnia warbands.

I’ve never ran a mordheim campaign before so any suggestions are very much appreciated.

The game went off without a hitch. The players had a good tile. So I guess you can delete this thread
