I need suggestions for a 1000 pts Blood Angels army that is heavy in flavour. The army shouldn't suck like mad but it dosen't have to competative either and also it is not important that it is exactly 1000p, so no need to count the exact points. It can be a Primiaris list or old school marines or any combo!

I run my Blood Angels fast and punchy. Lots of jump pack units. Usually a battalion or two of min-size scout units and some characters, then a big squad of Death Company with Lemartes and occasionally a smash captain (the heavy hitters), with an outrider consisting of assault marines and inceptors (the fluffy bit).

The assault marines always under-perform, but they're nice in min-sized squads to drop down and bring some plasma or meltagun fire to bear. I'm not a fan of primaris, but I grudgingly admit the utility of inceptors - my own headcanon is that they are normal marines in exo-suits, a bit like centurions - but fitted for assault.

For long-range firepower I look to fit in a couple of contemptor mortis dreadnaughts - one with kheres assault cannons, and the other with twin-lascannons. It's not a stellar list by any means - but fairly fluffy and it has performed well in casual games.

I dont think it can be more fluffy than this. All BA key units are there.
