Ok I know a guy who makes some kick ass necron terrain from foamcore. Not too hard since most necron terrain is simple shaped and straight lines.

But how do you cut the 45' anglealong the edges of the panels needed to make a pyramid or obelisk?

Beware however - simply having the tools that makes these job easy doesn't mean it's going to do the work for you. You'll always need to hone your fine motor skills to pull off the jobs well.

Bevel cutter.
You can use them on mounting board, foamcore or sintra.
You still need a straight hard "fence" to run them along and you will probably have to practice with them, but they work.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

That is not dead which can eternal lie ...

I'd say just freehand it. you wont see the inside so it doesn't matter too much what that looks like and the outside can be worked to close any gaps. In fact having less than crisp edges makes it looked more weathered and worn.
