Basically tired of getting beaten by basement dwellers. They bring some SM forgeworld gak and its pretty broken. Lemme know if this is mean enough.

Ditch the Ion Rifle on the Pathfinders, you want as many Markerlights as you can get.

Give your Riptides Target Locks and get rid of the Broadsides' Seeker Missiles.

Whats this "neckbeard" using that's causing so much agony? After you fix the pathfinders (max the markerlights), you'll have the tools to take out anything. And the seeker missiles are probably just fine to keep, especially considering we're talking forgeworld units.

The Tau player with riptide/broadside/shield drone spam complaining about marine "neckbeards" giving him trouble is pretty funny.

Haha, agreed. But I did see his earlier lists which were decent but he's also new. Against an experienced sm "neckbeard", you can get taken for a ride. This new list... you hide those drones and be within 3" of your suits, use proper target priority selection and the "neckbeard" will be calling Geoblaze a "neckbeard". Then everyone will have wonderful nicknames and terms for affection.

I recently played a list of shadowsun, 3 riptides, 3 broadsides, and ~18 drones in a 1500-pt game against Marines and a Knight. I made a mistake which resulted in me getting beaten by 1 point, but at the end of the game the only casualties I had taken were my drones and one broadside, while everything in his army except 2 squads of Marines and a Lieutenant were gone, so I consider it a moral victory.

I’m confused. Tau players are probably the most statistically proven to be clean, intelligent, and driven. On the same facts, SM of any variety players are proven to be repulsive, disgusting neckbeards whom are only in the hobby cause “spesh mreens ish kewel derp”
