I'm a 3D designer and I recently made a full 3D-printable replica of the Anphelion Base set for a client. Since this seems to be a pretty rare and sought-after kit, I thought I would also make the models available to anyone else who wants them.

The full set is available for $89 here.
The files are in STL format. Some of the pieces are pretty large, so they have versions that are split up for use with smaller printers.

Great sculpts! From one designer to another though (and I hate to be that guy that tell others how to do their business) your prices for the stl files are a bit... out of line with what most of your peers in the industry are doing.

I get you're probably putting a premium on it based on the prices of the original, but... as its not the original, the premium pricing doesn't really make any sense. Asking those prices also might pose a challenge to other designers (not me - I have more than enough of my own projects to keep me busy for a few years), as in they will see the prices you're asking, recreate the same files, and undercut your price by half or more and pull in far more sales than you will probably be able to manage at your current price point.

Holy crap, those prices are...wow.. Most expensive files I've ever seen listed. Gotta agree with Chaos - those are...proud.

Thanks for the feedback. I've reduced prices by around 50% for all the more expensive models.

I'm buying the xenos dissection table as a trial (I've wanted one for ages too)!

If anyone is interested in buying any of the models for cheaper, I can offer a discount on the prices listed on the CGTrader website if bought directly from me, as CGTrader takes a 30% cut. I'm thinking a 30% discount if you buy the whole set, and a 20% discount for each individual piece. Payment would be through PayPal.

Also, I would honestly avoid using Shapeways as they're way more expensive than a local printer would be, even scaling things down to 80% of the original size.

I admire your ambitions for your STLs. At the prices I would expect the parts to be printed.

Reduced prices again (by around 60%), and all of the big pieces now have versions that are split up for ease of printing.
