I was wondering, what exactly are the rules of sexually explicit models on P&M forums. More precisely, I would like to know if it's okay to ask for advices on how to paint some aroused sex organs on some naked demons miniature. I expect that pictures of said miniature and questions about sexual organs would be fine if the thread title is correctly tagged as NSFW, given how some very NSFW lines have been allowed to post on N&R, but I wanted to check what the official policy is.

That's a tough question.

First off: I have no issue at all with the naked form and discussion of it as such, so that's the general policy of the site (its okay to post pics of nude models as long as they aren't overtly sexual). WITH THAT SAID, google adsense, which we use for some of our advertising has a real issue with the nude form, even the semi-nude form. So when they do finally notice a page that has nude model pics on it, we unfortunately often have to delete the image (or sometimes the whole page) in order to maintain our monetization. It sucks, but that's the reality of keeping this site paid for.

So can you post the thread asking for advice about daemon sex organs as long as you label it NSFW? Yes, its probably okay. But just be warned that other Dakka users are often not quite so mature, and if the thread does deteriorate into arguing it is probably going to get locked. Or in other words, the thread may not last very long.

Like Yak said, generally as long as something is duely tagged NSFW it's OK.

For your specific question, yeah. My personal standard is nothing that would get worse than an R rating, so I'd strongly recommend you keep it to a text discussion and avoid images to illustrate the point.

I'm reminded of good advice my old boss gave me, if you have to ask, it's probably not a good idea.

Thanks all, I went with “very tiny versions of the pictures, in spoiler tag, with a link to a full-size version”. (Kyoto, by “avoid images to illustrate the point”, you meant images of real-life genitalia, not no images of my models, right?)
I don't expect much arguing, mostly because it's about incubus and I expect male genitalia gets less controversy than female genitalia.
